PROJECT:
TWIN FALLS TEMPLE

CLIENT: BIG-D CONSTRUCTION   MANAGER:  BRAD GREEN

The Twin Falls Temple was a great project. It is always a great opportunity to be a part of such a well designed project and contribute to a beautiful building. The concrete sidewalks, steps and mow strips add structure and framing to the landscape.

PROJECT:
UTAH VALLEY REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER

CLIENT: BIG-D CONSTRUCTION MANAGER: MASON GREEN

Green Construction has teamed up with Big-D on the new medical center in Provo. Due to a small jobsite and several subcontractors, scheduling and coordination become an important part of the operation. This project includes two separate parking lots with individual entrances to the building, several "ADA" compliant ramps and a plaza area.
PROJECT:
GREYHAWK SUBDIVISION

CLIENT: GOLD MEDALLION HOMES MANAGER: MORGAN GREEN

Gold Medallions Homes chose Green Construction as a partner to construct a 92 lot subdivision in Layton, Utah located on the hillside North of Mountain View Elementary School. The subdivision sits on Highway 193 between Highway 89 and Interstate 15 which is just a few minutes from Hill Air Force Base. The project totals over 35,000 linear feet of pipe. Some of this work included an offsite sewer outfall line that traveled through Layton City streets increasing the city’s sewer capacity. The project was unique because of the extreme importance of safety having one side of the project sharing a border with an elementary school.

PROJECT:
RIVERBEND INDUSTRIAL PARK

CLIENT: RIVERBEND COMMERCIAL LLC MANAGER: MORGAN GREEN

Green Construction Completed work on this 20 lot commercial subdivision in 2008, located in North Salt Lake, Utah. The subdivision included sewer, water, storm drain, and an intense infrastructure built with over 42,400 square yards of geotextile fabric and 44,400 cubic yards of imported granular borrow. The subdivision borders the new Legacy Highway and Center Street which required scheduling with UDOT to complete the work while the overpass on Center Street was being built. The subdivision has a great location with larger commercial lots, which has helped Green Construction choose this location for their new office and shop.

PROJECT:
REXBURG TEMPLE

CLIENT: JACOBSEN CONSTRUCTION   MANAGER:  MASON GREEN

It is always a privilege to work on the Temples. The Rexburg, Idaho Temple was one of the more challenging designed Temple projects. There were several cheek walls throughout the job site and two radius sets of steps. The entire entrance to the building is a six inch snow melt heated slab with a diagonal joint pattern.

PROJECT:
3800 SOUTH TRANSMISSION LINE

CLIENT: CITY OF NORTH SALT LAKE  MANAGER: MORGAN GREEN

In October of 2008 Green Construction was awarded the 3800 South Transmission Line from North Salt Lake City. The line was designed to provide service for a new water tank to be built on eaglewood drive. The project included over 3000 feet of 16” pipe in existing roads and a challenging 140 feet long steel casing that was bored under highway 89. The 16”x16” hot tap was one of the most challenging aspects of the job due to the necessary traffic control measures to ensure the safety of the project. North Salt Lake City and Green Construction worked together through large design changes, to finish the project in early 2009.
PROJECT:
US SKI TEAM TRAINING FACILITY

PROJECT:
ENSIGN PLAZA

CLIENT: JACOBSEN CONSTRUCTION  MANAGER:  BRAD GREEN

This new building in downtown Ogden is a great addition to the downtown renovation project. To match the design of the surrounding buildings we continued the brick paver border, and tree grates throughout the sidewalk around the building. The intricate joint detail adds a decorative look and provides functional control joints at the entrance and parking lot of the building.

PROJECT:
TABERNACLE

CLIENT: JACOBSEN CONSTRUCTION  MANAGER:  BRAD GREEN

The Historic 140 year old Salt Lake Tabernacle received a much needed upgrade in April of ’06. Green Construction was presented the challenge of replacing the exterior concrete while maintaining the appearance and historical character of the iconic structure. Our goal was to leave it virtually unchanged. The exposed aggregate concrete with beveled saw cut joints helps add to the historic feel and ties it in with the rest of the temple square, where the history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is of extreme importance. Leading to the entrances of the building there are both concave and convex radius steps. A culture of safety and respect was present every day we worked on this project due to its religious and historical significant. There was a great spirit of camaraderie and the contribution to a common goal.

PROJECT:
WEST MINISTER HEALTH AND WELLNESS

CLIENT: JACOBSEN CONSTRUCTION MANAGER: BRAD GREEN

PROJECT:
EAGLEPOINT
SUBDIVISION

CLIENT: SKY PROPERTIES MANAGER: BRAD GREEN

Located in North Salt Lake, Utah; Eaglepointe subdivision for Sky Properties is one of the largest residential projects that Green Construction has completed, successfully finishing 6 phases of the subdivision. The project is located on the East Bench of North Salt Lake, which makes the views great, but construction difficult adding mountain rock to the project. The lots, which range from .28 to .74 acres, are fully improved and ready for residential construction. The job was difficult due to the required blasting for large cuts through rock which measured up to 50 ft. with an additional cut of 23 ft for underground utilities.
